Helén Tapper is coming to RiverCity Gallery with the exhibition “pierced and tattooed glass”

Finally Helén Tapper is back with a solo exhibition in Gothenburg.
Helen shows new and unique pieces in the exhibition, which has been named “pierced and tattooed glass”.

“Glass is a fantastic material, alluring, beautiful, transparent and difficult to master!”  Helén Tapper

Helén Tapper has worked as her own for ten years and has her studio at Lundbystrand in Gothenburg. The glass is blown at Micke Johansson’s studio foundry or at Skrufs glassworks depending on what she wants to get.

She studied at the Art Industrial School (now HDK) where she received a solid foundation and was then contracted to Rörstrands porcelain in Lidköping for some years. 1995 she came to Johansfors Glassworks in Småland, where it has been working with everything from art glass, glass tableware, special design etc.
